DO I NEED TO DO ANYTHING ELSE, BESIDES BUYING THE WEDEMAND! TICKET TO HELP IN THE SUCCESS OF THE MOBILIZATION?

Yes! You are not required, but it is important to get involved and help spread the word about the crowdfunding campaign. It’s easy to invite friends on Twitter, Facebook, by Email, Yelling or anything else you can do to make the show happen. Besides inviting friends, you can also send video clips and tracks so more people can get to know the band and support the crowdfunding concert.

WHICH SHOWS HAVE ALREADY BEEN DONE THROUGH THE PLATFORM?

WeDemand! started out in Brazil as Queremos! where the platform has powered over 60 concerts from the likes of LCD Soundsystem, The National, Feist and many more. A list of all the shows that have been put together through WeDemand! is on the "Concert" tab in the header of the site.

HOW ARE THE PAYMENTS MADE ?

Payments are made via credit card through Stripe

WILL I RECEIVE MY WEDEMAND! TICKET AT HOME?

No. You redeem your WeDemand Ticket at the box office, on the day of the show. Because you are Special in that you helped put on the show you are also on a Special list. Just because you are Special don’t forget to bring your ID!

HOW DO I GET MY WEDEMAND! TICKET?

On the day of the event, at the venues box office, there will be a Special list for those who bought a WeDemand! ticket. Simply present your ID and get your ticket. We advise you to arrive early to avoid delays at the entrance.

CAN I GIVE MY WEDEMAND! TICKET TO SOMEONE ELSE?

Yes. Simply have the person you want to give the ticket to attend the concert with your ID or credit card used to buy the ticket in order to be able to pick it up.

WHAT HAPPENS IF THE AMOUNT NEEDED IS NOT REACHED?

The following day after the crowdfunding campaign ends, all those who bought the WeDemand! ticket are fully reimbursed via credit card on the same account, and the event doesn’t happen.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE AMOUNT NEEDED IS REACHED?

The concert is confirmed and regular ticket sales begin. You can feel pretty happy about yourself for getting a cheaper ticket!

WHAT HAPPENS IF THE REGULAR TICKETS AFTER THE WEDEMAND! TICKETS DON’T SELL OUT?

The event is guaranteed with the minimum amount raised by the WeDemand! tickets.

DO PEOPLE WHO BOUGHT THE WEDEMAND! TICKET PROFIT FROM THE CONCERT?

No. The reward is to have the personal satisfaction of knowing that without you the concert wouldn’t have happened.

HOW DO I GET A FREE TICKET?

Everytime the same fan takes part in 10 different successful WeDemand crowdfunding campaigns he/she is eligible for a free ticket for another concert happening through WeDemand.

IF I BUY 10 WEDEMAND TICKETS FOR THE SAME CROWDFUNDING CAMPAIGN DO I GET AN EXTRA ONE FOR FREE?

No. It doesn’t matter how many tickets you buy for the same crowdfunding campaign, you need to buy at least one for 10 different successful campaigns in order to be eligible to get a free ticket.

WHY DO I NEED TO TAKE PART IN 10 DIFFERENT CAMPAIGN INSTEAD OF SIMPLY BUYING 10 WEDEMAND TICKETS?

We want to reward those fans who support many concerts and many bands!

IS THERE A LIMIT TO THE NUMBER OF FREE TICKETS THAT CAN BE REDEEMED PER CONCERT?

Yes. Each concert has a limited number of free tickets that can be redeemed by eligible users. The amount varies from concert to concert, but it is always one free ticket per eligible user, regardless of having credits for more.

CAN I CHOOSE FOR WHICH CONCERT I WANT MY FREE TICKET, ONCE I AM ELIGIBLE?

Yes, as long as there still tickets left to be given away (see above).

WHY DOESN'T THE AUDIENCE PARTICIPATE IN THE PROFIT?

It is a matter of risk because all the work and risk falls on the team that promotes the event. If the minimum value is not reached, fans receive their money back and if the value is reached, the event is guaranteed, even if additional tickets don’t sell. Moreover, the audience has no risk of loss: all costs inherent to produce an event is absorbed by the production, including any extra costs.

WHY SHOULD I BUY A WEDEMAND! TICKET INSTEAD OF JUST WAITING FOR THE START OF REGULAR TICKET SALES?

First and foremost, those who participate in the crowdfunding campaign make the concert happen. If the minimum amount is not raised, there’s no concert. There’s another reason too: a WeDemand Ticket is cheaper than a normal ticket will cost once the concert is confirmed!

Also, those who buy a WeDemand Ticket for 10 different successful crowdfunding campaigns, get a free ticket for their loyalty and support of live music.

WHY ISN'T MY PHOTO APPEARING IN THE MOSAIC?

You need to add your photo to your profile or use Facebook connect to use your Facebook picture.

WHAT IMAGES MAY BE DISPLAYED IN THE MOSAIC BY THOSE WHO BUY THE WEDEMAND! TICKETS?

Personal photos, over which you have the rights to use. No logos are allowed, third-party photos or text messages. We try to be as flexible as possible, because we know that not everyone uses pictures as avatar. However, we reserve the right to remove / change any photos in the mosaic that we believe to be infringing any internal site rules or that is in violation of any law.

CAN I DISPLAY A LOGO IN THE MOSAIC AS MY PROFILE PICTURE?

No. It is forbidden to add corporate logos and images in the mosaic.

WHAT HAPPENS IF THE DATE OF A CONFIRMED CONCERT IS TRANSFERRED?

Until a concert is confirmed, there may be numerous date changes due to several factors, including band scheduling and logistics. However, if this happens we will able to deal with this on a case by case basis.

HOW DO I GET THE WEDEMAND TICKET I BOUGHT?

At the box office on the day of the event, with a special line whenever possible.

BY PARTICIPATING DO I GET THE RIGHT TO RECEIVE GIFTS SUCH AS MEET&GREET, STICKERS, SHIRTS, POSTERS AND/OR OTHER PERKS?

No. Although we will always try to set up special deals for those who take part in crowdfunding

The format, rules and conditions of WeDemand! may change without notice, as long as they do not affect what’s already underway. We always try keep this section of frequently asked questions updated.
